Designed to be a housing building for the students of the New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) in Newark. The level below ground and the ground floor combine to form double height spaces. These are the performance area and the cafe. These spaces are accessible to the public, who can stop to observe while passing by, or even descend into the the spaces for a better experience. Above are three stories of living spaces. Each level has two units. The unit above steps back from the unit below, giving each unit its own balcony. At the top, the residents are provided with private practice rooms for their specific study.
