With masonry as the topic of the studio, the proposed design implements the arch as its primary structural system. The dock to the water taxis faces true north, treating the terminal as a compass. In the center of the terminal is a human sundial, allowing the users to interact with the terminal in more ways than just a hub of transportation. The site was in between two parks in Bayonne, NJ.
