Ironbound Branch Library

The design of this library is for the Ironbound community of Newark. It consists of two intersecting blocks. A ceremonial stair and light well highlight the intersection of the block. The tall block is designated for private study and research as well as leisure. The short block is more for public affairs. This block houses a gallery space, conference rooms for community meetings, and a children's reading area. This children's reading area also has access to the roof top terrace. The rear garden acts as an outdoor rest area as well as an extension to the cafe.
