This town is designed for the farmers that currently live and work on the outskirts of Wuhan, China. A park is placed down the center of the site, with a school at the west end and a civic center at the east end. The barriers of the park create pockets of leisure and gathering. The streets are lined with bio swales, rain gardens, and catch basins to control the flooding of the site. On either side of the park, housing is lined up against the edge. Each building functions as its own small community, and can be manipulated in form without losing its function. Each building also grants its inhabitants access to a series of green roofs, which can be used as small vegetable gardens. Finally, at the south end of the site, a dock is accessible to the residents.
